The Plot: The body of the famous actress Anna Frtiz (Alba
Ribas) is in the morgue of the hospital where Pau (Albert Carbó) works. Excited,
he invites two friends, Ivan and Javi, to see her body. When Javi decides to
rape her dead body he agrees and follows him, only Ivan disagrees. While Pau is
raping her she opens her eyes…
The Best: The scene where Anna tries to escape.
The Worst: The final is unsurprising.
The cast: Alba Ribas is very good as
Anna and the three guys are convincing enough in their roles.
The Movie: Necrophilia isn’t an easy
subject and rarely makes its way to the screen, but director Hèctor Hernánez
Vicens has guts and the result is a dark and intense thriller. If only it
wasn’t so predictable... Anyway, in less than 90 minutes, he manages to tell
his story, to disturb us and to give the preceding enough suspense to keep us
glued to our seats.
